WHAT IS ALA ?
African Leadership Academy is an institution whose mission is to transform Africa by developing a powerful network of young leaders who will work together to address Africa’s greatest challenges, achieve extraordinary social impact, and accelerate the continent’s growth trajectory.
With a Leadership development Model of enabling lasting peace and shared prosperity, the African Leadership Academy strives to achieve its mission by identifying, developing and connecting Africa’s future leaders, through its diverse programs including the Anzisha Prize, the Global Scholars Program (GSP), the Model African Union (MAU), the Build-in-a-Box (BIAB), amongst others.
As an Academy, the African Leadership Academy offers a two-year residential program for teenagers:
